K&A Hardwood Floors

Steven and his team at K&N Hardwood Floors LLC transformed my old condo at Mayflower Square Alexandria VA from a very old beaten down place to a top notch renovation that has impressed everyone I have showed their work so far. They are very fair with pricing and the level of work they do, from tiles, flooring, painting, bathroom/kitchen renovation is expert level but at reasonable labor costs that I do not thing any other contractors in the area can match! Highly recommended and will definitely use their services again in the future!

They did great work. Work was on time, on budget, and communication was great! I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again!

We wish we had discovered K&A Hardwood Floors sooner. We had an issue with our hardwoods where I left a carpet cleaner on the hardwoods after cleaning a spill on our area rug. The carpet cleaner left a "chemical burn" in the top coat of hardwoods. Reached out to K&A for an estimate, and worked with Steven. From start to finish Steven was communicative, responsive, and straight forward. He was perfectly punctual coming to our home for both the quote and the work itself. As far as the work goes, I can't tell that there was a repair even done to our floors his work was so perfect. Steven took the time to take each of our damaged board back down to raw wood and built the finish back up again. Steven is such a skilled craftsman that he perfectly matched even the sheen on the floor. I would without hesitation rehire K&A hardwood floors for any flooring needs in the future. For our before and after picture, Steven's work is so good that I had to match the wood grain in my before shot to make sure I was taking a picture of the same area now.

Another company made a mess of my hardware floor. Steven was able to totally fix it. he pays attention to detail and is a true craftsman

Steven did an amazing job. He was able to give me a fast quick and easy estimate for the job. He was even able to come out the the next day to do the work. I would recommend him and his team to anyone looking for Hardwood flooring in the DMV area. He was professional and gave excellent customer service. He is knowledgeable and serious about his business.

Steven and his coworker did an excellent job on my hardwood floors. I was very impressed with the way they perform their work. Excellent customer service. 100% recommended.

Awesome work from Steven. Took the time necessary to get the floors prep and repairs for refinishing.

I am so happy with the work and the overall experience I had with this company. Steven was able to bring to life what I had envisioned. I am so thankful for him and his work. We had worked with another contractor first and he completely ruined my floors until I found Steven and he helped me get my floors exactly the color I wanted it to be. My house went from old and outdated to new and classy. I am completely obsessed with the floors.

Great job by Steven and team on the first floor of our house. Steven was great to communicate with, very responsive, and work was top notch. Would use again and strongly recommend.

We’ve worked with Steven and K&A Hardwood Floors on several flooring projects for SSS Homes LLC, and the experience has consistently been outstanding. Steven is professional, responsive, and extremely knowledgeable about hardwood flooring. The workmanship is top-notch — every project was completed with precision, care, and on schedule. Our clients have been very happy with the final results. Highly recommend K&A Hardwood Floors for any residential or commercial flooring needs.

Absolutely 5 Star from start to finish. We had hardwood floor service from various vendors for 40 yrs. I came across positive reviews of K&A and thought I’d give a try. I sent them pictures and within 2 hours had a quote. Next day Steve came to review the project. On our schedule day Steve texted he would arrive at 10:30, he arrived at 10:28. Said he would be done at 12:30. Finished at 12:25. Floor was dry in 3 hours looking wonderful! I was really impressed by his knowledge of floors and flooring. His work is best described as a craftsman.

Steve from K&A Hardwood Flooring LLC removed carpet from my steps and hallway area upstairs. He instilled new hardwood upstairs and full wooden steps on the stairs. He is very professional and a true craftsman. His work is excellent. I almost hired a handyman to do it and I am glad I didn’t as Steve exceeded expectations. His prices are also very reasonable. He is a bit more than a handyman but much less then the big name stores. A great value.

I had two rooms that needed hardwood flooring to be installed as well as having my current hardwood floors refinished and a spot that needed repairing. Everything came out beautifully and I can’t be happier with the finished project! Steven was amazing to work with. He was very helpful with advice on picking the perfect color and finish of the floors. You could tell he really cared that we would be happy with the finished project. I 100% recommend!

Steven and his team are top notch! You will find outstanding communication, craftsmanship, free estimates and fair pricing from a verified, solid small business. I had the main and upper levels done, and wanted specific wood and underlayment that I provided and he gave a great recommendation and even covered a small portion with extra transition pieces. The job took 4 days which I though was fast given 2,020 sq. feet. Steven called and texted me progress pictures everyday that work was being done which was such a reassurance given that I was not living in the house while the work was being done. I will be using his team for all of my flooring needs - Make sure call K&A Hardwood Flooring for any flooring job.

Stephen is Very professional, knowledgeable, Hard working person. He even brings the sample of the colors for the trial. He goes above and beyond to do his job. Finishes work on time. I would recommend him to my friends and Family. I am very happy with his job.

We were very happy with our hardwood floor repair. Steven was quick to respond, gave me an estimate, and was flexible about start time. We took a long time to decide, but lucky for us he was still available to do the work! He and his assistant fixed a broken floor board for us in about two hours and it looks amazing. It matches the adjacent floor and you can't tell it was replaced.
